Name: Tess
Age: About 5 years
Breed: Domestic short hair – Gray and white
Reason for being at shelter: Stray
Description: Tess is ever-so-calm and relaxed in this noisy and chaotic environment. She watches with interest but remains the observer and overseer of it all. There’s a lot to take in and her cage is positioned to watch people and dogs go by all day long. When she gets bored of that, she crashes out for a cat nap and twitches while dreaming. But if there are people around, she gladly interacts and likes to be held and snuggled as well. Tess has great poise, has a friendly personality and is gentle and sweet with people. Tess is suffering some hair loss (which may come from her roaming days without flea treatment) but it will quickly grow back. In the meantime, you’ll appreciate her velvety-soft, warm body when you cuddle together.
