Name: Chelsea
Age: About 1 year
Breed: Gray Tabby
Reason for being at shelter: Stray
Description: Extremely photogenic, very playful yet quite elusive is this mitted gray tabby named Chelsea. She loves to play and her curiosity tends to bring her out of her shell yet she’ll keep her distance from people in the process. She can also be lured out by kitty treats and wet food. Chelsea was a trapped stray and is inclined to being distrustful of human contact and sometimes noise. She will require an experienced cat owner to continue to work with her to bring out the potential hidden within her. Chelsea might be a good barn cat candidate. She is not a good fit for young children or a chaotic household because she’s not one to be handled or chased and will run away. She needs some socialization work but for the right adopter, she will advance into a friendlier kitty. Chelsea is good with other cats and her play meter is usually on high. She is awfully cute though and yearns to learn, grow and change.
